Love ribs, but can’t grill right now? This is the perfect solution. Caramelized on the outside, tender on the inside.
3 Tablespoons Light Brown Sugar
2 Tablespoons Funky Fennel
1 Tablespoon Kosher salt
Approximately 4 pounds of St. Louis style ribs
DIRECTIONS: Heat oven to 300 degrees. Set a wire rack in a rimmed sheet pan. Combine sugar, Funky Fennel and salt. Rub all over both sides of the ribs. Place the ribs bone side down on the wire rack and place the sheet pan in the oven. Pour 3 cups of water in the sheet pan below the ribs. Bake for approximately 3 hours, until the meat is tender when tested with a fork. Let rest for 15 minutes before cutting between the bones and serving.
