We were getting a lot of requests for a salt-free blend to put on fish like salmon, swordfish, and tuna. Our Asian-inspired rub with ginger and garlic enriches the flavor of the fish. It’s a simple preparation that tastes sophisticated.
1/4 CUP SESAME SEEDS
1 TBSP. CANOLA OIL
1 TSP. RUB MY FISH
1/4 TSP. SALT (OPTIONAL)
4 SIX OZ. SKIN-ON SALMON FILLETS
Directions: Spread sesame seeds on a plate. Mix oil with Rub My Fish and brush oil mixture on flesh side of fish. Sprinkle salt on fish. Press flesh sides of fillets in sesame seeds. Heat 12-inch skillet for 3 minutes and add remaining oil to coat bottom of pan. Add fillets skin side down, leave for 4-5 minutes. Turn fillets and cook additional 3-4 minutes.
